How do I uninstall and reinstall the TS PDF Generator?

When troubleshooting issues with the TS PDF Generator, you may be required to remove the TS PDF Generator printer, either automatically or manually, and reinstall it.

Resolution

CAUTION: This solution requires advanced knowledge of your computer's operating system. Contact your system administrator for assistance. Modifying your Windows Registry incorrectly can severely affect system operations. Sage is not responsible for operation issues caused by incorrectly modifying your Windows Registry. Always create a backup of your data before proceeding with advanced solutions.

Important: All of these solutions require Administrator privileges.

Option 1 - Remove TS PDF Generator through Windows Settings

  1. Close 300CRE.
  2. Open Windows Settings, Printers & scanners.
  3. Click TS PDF Generator and choose to Remove device.
  4. Reboot the computer and make sure that that the TS PDF Generator is no longer in the list.
    If it is still in the list, there may be print jobs waiting. Cancel them and then remove the printer again.

Reinstalling

Option 2 - Remove TS PDF Generator manually

    Open Printers & scanners, click on the TS PDF Generator and select Remove Device.

  • Open Windows Explorer and browse to %SystemRoot%\System32\Spool\Drivers\x64\3 and delete all files that begin with ACpdf*, ACFpdf.txt and Cdintf* files.
  • Delete these files from any subdirectories as well.
  • Delete the amyuni_amyunidocumentconverter* directory if it exists.
  • Open C:\Windows\System32 and delete all Cdintf* file.
  • Open C:\Windows\SysWOW64 (if it exists) and delete all Cdintf* files.
  • Open the C:\Program Files (x86)\Timberline Office\Shared directory and delete all Cdintf* files.
  • ReInstalling

    1. Run the RunAmyUnilnst.exe to install the TS PDF Generator Amyuni driver:
    2. Once the installation is complete, open Windows Settings,Printers & scanners.
    3. Select TS PDF Generator , Manage , Printer properties ,
    4. Select the Advanced tab and v erify that the following options are set:
    5. S elect Security tab, select Everyone in the Groups or user names box and ensure Print, Manage Documents and Manage Printer options are checked.
    6. Go to Ports tab, and ensure Port for TS PDF Generator printer is set to NUL:
